Aurgho Jyoti was invited to present the work of AUR from the lens of practicing in a Critical Zone of social and environmental challenges. It was conducted in conjunction with the Seminar “Critical Zones” and it is part of a book being published and edited by David Moon. In response to the complex urban challenges of our time—such as poverty, inequality, conflict, and climate change—the "Critical Zones" aims to highlight innovative design research and collaborative efforts by emerging design practices, with a strong focus on social and environmental responsibility. The goal is to examine how these firms and their methodologies address pressing global issues, focusing on regions and places that are polarized, contested, or underexplored. (March 11, 2026)
