Aurgho Jyoti was invited as a speaker in the International Seminar on Indenture Memorial Day. He was part of the session “Of Memories and Identity” along with Ashook Ramsaran (President - India Diaspora Council) and David Dabydeen (Professor - Warwick University, Ambassador - Republic of Guyana and Hon. Fellow - Selwyn College Cambridge University). The lecture titled “Where are you from? Indentured Histories and Architecture” highlighted the multi-year research by Aurgho Jyoti on indenture culture and spaces. AUR’s conception of the Port Heritage Museum project was presented along with the structure of the museum galleries.
