The talk session “Architecture Practice - Global South to Global North” was organised by the AIANY Emerging New York Architects Committee of AIA New York. Aurgho’s lecture “Global Practice, Global South” highlighted his personal and professional background, formation of AUR, and AUR’s current and past projects. The second speaker was Alexander Loyer Hughes, co-founder of KURV Architecture. The session was moderated by Hao-Yeh Lu. The talk session through their portfolios and shared insights underlined what shaped their career from India and Chile to New York, how their international background became their power to grow and thrive, and ultimately start their own practice and succeed.
