The Virtual Kolkata Partition Museum (VKPM) was launched by the Kolkata Partition Museum Trust at the Indian Council of Cultural Research (ICCR) in Kolkata. The event held at the Satyajit Ray Auditorium was covered by leading media houses and inaugurated by renowned Indian artist Jogen Choudhury and filmmaker Supriyo Sen. The VKPM design and research team presented the project on the 75th anniversary of India’s Partition. Aurgho Jyoti presented about the design of the project and its material memory, while Subhradip Roy focussed on the digital environment. (August 24, 2022)
